Emergency Repairs
Out of hours
If a serious fault occurs outside of regular working hours and it is not safe to wait until the next working day, please call the emergency repair service.
Emergency repairs are those where there is a serious and imminent risk to:
- - Health and safety of the occupants/others
- - Structure of the building
- - Security of the property
In the event of an emergency repair, please read see Common Maintenance Issues to check common faults before reporting a repair.
In the event of a fire or an immediate threat to life, please contact 999.
For anything time-sensitive, such as gas problems or leaks, it is essential that they be reported immediately. In such circumstances, we may need to attend the property with a contractor on short notice.
If you smell Gas or the Carbon Monoxide alarm sounds
Please contact SGN immediately on 0800111999 and report this to us as soon as possible. Do not turn any electrical switches on and off. Do not smoke, use matches or naked flames.
Tenant callout charge
Tenants are responsible for the Locksmith charges in the event of lock out, lost keys, or damages caused by forced entry. In the event of a non-emergency out of hours call, the tenant will be responsible for any incurred costs.
